More than a hat

1. Determine your head circumference

If you already know your head circumference, you can skip this step.

Otherwise, measure your head circumference using a tape measure or a piece of string which you then measure with a ruler.
The tape should fit snugly around your head at forehead level.

2. Choose your riding model in the Hat-Line online shop

Browse our shop and choose your preferred Western-style riding model. When placing your order, enter your head circumference under “Size”. If you are unsure, feel free to contact us anytime at shop@hat-line.com — we will gladly assist you.

3. Fine adjustment with fitting rings

To determine the most suitable size, we send you nine fitting rings:
your selected size, as well as one size smaller and one size larger. For each size there are three different shapes (for example round to oval). Measuring instructions are included in the package. Afterwards, please submit your measured size using the link provided.

4. Production & shipping of your custom riding model

Once we receive your final size, your Hat-Line riding model is manufactured in Austria. It consists of a 3D-printed shell with hand-finished components. After quality control, the product is carefully packaged and shipped. You will then receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking link.

Construction you don’t see – but feel

Beneath the classic Western hat lies a multi-layer internal construction.

An integrated inner shell provides structural stability and forms part of the layered design.

On top of this sits an additional cushioning layer and a comfortable inner lining that enhances wearing comfort — even on longer rides.

Each Hat-Line riding model combines traditional Western design with a modern integrated internal structure.

Our 3D-printed shell construction

High-precision 3D printing

The base of each shell is manufactured using a 3D-printing process.
This creates a consistent shape and a stable, repeatable structure for every model.

Integrated cushioning insert

After printing, a specially developed plastic cushioning insert is installed.
It improves wearing comfort and supports even pressure distribution.

Soft felt surface

Finally, a high-quality felt surface is applied.
This improves the feel, increases comfort and creates a clean interior finish.
